About Dermopigmentazione
Dermopigmentazione is pigment worked into the skin to shape, define or add color where you want it to stay put, brows, lip line and lip color, eyeliner, scalp, or camouflage over scars and uneven areas. It's not a tattoo in the traditional sense and it's not makeup. It's pigment placed at a shallow depth so it reads soft and natural, then fades gradually over one to three years depending on your skin and the area treated.
A session with me runs about two to three hours. We map the shape on your face first and I don't touch a needle until you've looked in the mirror and told me it's right. Then I numb the area, work in the pigment in passes, and you leave the same day. Expect the color to look darker and sharper for about a week while the skin heals, some light scabbing or flaking is normal, then it softens by roughly 30 to 40 percent into its true tone. Most people are back to work the next day. A touch-up at six to eight weeks locks the result in.
Every appointment is with me, always Teresa, never a rotating technician or an assistant finishing the work. I trained in this at TEOREMA CENTRO STUDI - CINQUESSE in Tuscany, and pigment work is one of the reasons I went there. It matters because the result sits on your face for years. You want one pair of hands doing the mapping, the pigment choice and the needle, not a handoff halfway through.

Consultation with Teresa
You sit down with me, not an assistant. We talk about shape, colour, skin type, and what you actually want the result to look like.
Patch test and colour match
I patch test the pigment on your skin and match tone carefully. This step matters if you're worried about looking overdone or unnatural.
Mapping and drawing
Before any pigment goes in, I draw the shape on your skin. You approve it in the mirror. Nothing starts until you're happy.
First pigmentation session
I do the work myself, start to finish. Expect some redness and slight swelling. Most people are presentable the same day, darker for about a week.
Healing period
Colour looks bold at first, then softens as skin heals. Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid sun, sweat, and heavy skincare on the site.
Touch-up session
We review how the pigment settled and refine shape, density, or tone. This second pass is what makes the result look natural rather than flat.
Ongoing care
Pigment fades over time depending on skin and sun exposure. When you're ready for a refresh, you book with me again. Always Teresa, never handed off.
Frequently asked questions
Dermopigmentazione is a cosmetic tattooing technique where I deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin to enhance features like brows, lash line, or lips, the goal is a soft, natural result, not an obvious "tattooed" look. The appointment takes about 2 hours, you'll look a bit darker and slightly swollen for the first 3-5 days as it heals, and I book a touch-up 4-6 weeks later to refine the color. You book with me, and I do the work myself, no assistants, no handoffs.
Pricing depends on the area and how much work it needs, so I quote it after we talk through what you're actually looking for, brows, lips, scalp, or a correction on old work all sit at different price points. Send me an inquiry with a photo and I'll come back to you with a clear number before you commit to anything. And to be clear: the consultation, the mapping, and the actual pigmentation are all done by me, never handed off.
Plan on about 2 to 2.5 hours for the first session, and a shorter touch-up around 6-8 weeks later to refine the result. You'll be with me start to finish, I don't hand any part of it off.
