About Photoshoot Makeup
Photoshoot makeup is different from everyday makeup or even bridal. Cameras and lighting pick up everything, texture, oil, heavy product, the wrong undertone. My job is to give you skin that reads clean and dimensional on screen, features that hold up under strong light, and a finish that photographs the way you actually look in person, just sharpened. Depending on the shoot, that can mean a natural editorial skin, a stronger beauty look, or something specific the creative team is asking for. I match to the lighting setup and the camera, not to what looks good in a mirror under fluorescents.
The appointment includes proper skin prep, cleanse, hydration, targeted priming for your skin type, then a full face built for camera, plus touch-ups on set if I'm staying for the shoot. I'll also tell you exactly what to do the days before: what to avoid, what to keep simple, when to book a facial and when not to, and how to sleep and hydrate the night before so we're not fixing things in the chair.

You send me the shoot date, location, and reference images. I confirm availability for your location and hold the slot.
Brief and Mood Alignment
We talk through the concept, wardrobe, lighting, and camera format. I flag what reads well on lens versus in person.
Skin Prep Recommendations
I send a short prep list for the days before, hydration, exfoliation to avoid, and anything that could interfere with the finish.
Travel and Call Time Confirmed
I confirm my travel into your location, arrival time on set, and kit setup. It's me on the day, not a stand-in.
On-Set Makeup Application
I apply the look myself, checking it under the actual shoot lighting. Adjustments happen in real time between setups.
Touch-Ups Between Looks
I stay on set for the shoot, handling touch-ups, wardrobe changes, and any second or third look we planned in the brief.
Wrap and Removal Guidance
After the final frame, I pack down and leave you with removal and skin recovery notes so nothing lingers the next day.
